Hanabi Ryusuitei is a Tokyo-based bilingual Rakugo performer, officially appointed as a tourism ambassador for Minato City.
She is a multi-talented artist who also works as a master of ceremonies, radio DJ, actor, and voice actor.
She was featured in a Google Pixel commercial, and her popular YouTube channel introduces Japanese culture in English while teaching conversational English to Japanese comedians.

As an ambassador for the Japanese Medicinal Sake Association and the Light Haiku Association, and a certified instructor of Ryukyu Karen (Okinawan floral artistry), Hanabi blends tradition and modernity across all her work.

Her radio career spans both Japan (ZIP-FM, Shibuya-FM) and the United States (New York and San Francisco), where she hosted regular programs. She has also served as MC for large-scale music festivals, city-run cultural events in Tokyo, and appeared as a TV reporter.

In recent years, Hanabi has held solo bilingual Rakugo performances at venues including Fudanotsuji Hall, Hostel in Asakusa, and events like the Tokyo Tower Culture Festival,

Tokyo 2020 Olympic exchange events, Yokohama International Festival, and various libraries, theaters, and commercial spaces throughout Japan and overseas.

Her mission is to spread smiles, love, and energy to audiences around the world through the traditional Japanese storytelling art of Rakugo—bridging cultures through laughter.
